We're joining Ryan MacGrath for a show at the Halifax Club.  Ryan will play a set, we will play a set, and then we'll get together for a few songs from Ryan's forthcoming album, which Gypsophilia collaborated on.

We have tried twice to fly to NL in the past day and all flights have been cancelled due to weather in St. John's.  We are hoping to make it into town on Saturday afternoon and play on Saturday night, but no details are yet confirmed.

We're holding a good old fashioned Gypsophilia dance party at the Seahorse to celebrate the release of our first music video.  The video is called Battery Life and was directed by Scott Simpson. Krasnogorsk and DJ Regalia are also on the bill.  Tickets $12 at the door.

Gypsophilia performs at the ECMA awards gala.  The band is also up for two awards - Entertainer of the Year and Jazz Recording of the Year.

Gypsophilia has been selected to play the Rising Star Official Showcase at the 2010 East Coast Music Awards in Sydney NS.

The band will be playing amongst the sails and galleys at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic (1675 Lower Water Street) on Feb 19th. Come dance your feet off in celebration and in support of 2b Theatre’s national and international tours in 2010.  The benefit event will also feature the launch of a new short video blog from 2b's recent tour to New York City. A fundraiser for Dalhousie Legal Aid

Gypsophilia will be playing a concert at The Carleton in Halifax.  Show starts at 9pm sharp, and dinner reservations are recommended for preferred seating.  Tickets are $20, available in person at The Carleton (1685 Argyle St.) or by calling (902) 422-6335.  Tickets are limited, so buy yours soon!

Come out and celebrate the New Year with a wonderful blend of sumptuous food, champagne and dancing to the music of Gypsophilia.
